Docklands love affair

Posted by real_admin

Ah the giddy feeling of falling in love. The butterflies in your stomach, the euphoria of knowing that life is good and getting better every day.

I’m in love with the Docklands like Carrie Bradshaw fell in love with New York.

It matters not whether the rains fall, the winds howl or the sun glistens on the crystal blue water; the feeling of “oneness with all” is palpable.

In the quiet ambience at the west of the city, the yachts sway with the movement of time and the hands shake when business is done.  The Docklands has a pulse of its own.

An eclectic spread of ethnicities and vast array of pleasures from food, music, football and fashion Docklands is in a class of its own, never to be compared, nor copied.  (Not unless it’s New York City.)

When construction wanes and critics move on, the Docklands will be the City of “Dreams and Diversity” that all Australian’s will grow to love as much as I do.
